As child marriage was widespread in Nepal, they married at the age of 15. It was difficult for poor Krishna to provide for his family and children at such a young age. He began his trekking career in 1995 as a porter and within a few years rose to become a trekking and tour guide. He has already gained over 30 years of experience in the field of Nepalese trekking. He has two children, a daughter (29) and a son (27). Now that the children are grown up, his children and wife have encouraged Krishna to start his own family business. Krishna Gautam– Manager, Tour leader, Yoga instructor
Coming from the remote village where two meals a day was a big struggle; Krishna understands the worth of everything he encounters with. In 1995, he began his trek as a porter and eventually promoted to the position of trekking guide. Krishna worked extensively for another trekking company until 2019. However, Krishna now works for his own firm after his wife and children gave him the inspiration and drive to start the family business. His 29 years of expertise in the field of trekking has taught him professional client-handling skills. He has adequate knowledge of the Himalayas. Gita Gautam– Manager Logistic
Gita Gautam is a very kind woman who has faced many challenges during her life. She was forced to be married at age 16 and give birth to two kids before turning 20. Because there was a superstition that if parents could marry their daughter before she began her menstruation, their position in heaven would be secured. Following her marriage, she was unable to continue her education. She had many challenges raising her children because of her poor financial situation. However, she was always there to encourage her husband in all his endeavors. Now, she offers guest with best food and hospitality services, whenever there is home-stay guest.
Sobita Gautam: CEO
Sobita Gautam is the eldest child of Krishna and Gita. She is an attorney in Nepal. She assisted in the company’s registration and supervised its operations to keep it up to date lawfully. She encourages everyone to work and provides solutions to any problems that may arise. She prepares draft and organizes all the documents required for the company. She has also worked with Krishna as a assistant tour guide for the company.
Sobit Gautam– Manager
Sobit Gautam is the youngest child of Krishna and Gita. He is completing his last semester of a bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA). As his study suggests, he oversees all of the organization’s administrative tasks. As a manager, he handles visitor inquiries, coordinates arrivals and departures, obtains trekking permits, etc. Every day, he strives to diversify his business.
Ganesh Amgain– Yoga and Wellness Trekking Guide
Ganesh Amgain is Yoga Instructor, Psychotherapist and Lecturer. Having worked as the embodied movement-based psychotherapy for more than a decade, incorporated alternative healing modalities like Tibetan Sound Healing, Reiki Healing and Yoga to promote wholistic well being of his clients. He worked in Nirvana Psychosocial Care Centre & Research Institute and Nirvana Yogalaya, that offers teachers training of Ashtanga Vinayasa Yoga Style (USA Yoga Alliance Certification), Dance Movement Therapy and Somatic Experiencing.
Alongside this, he serves as lecturer in Central Department of Psychology, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. With good theoretical foundation in Yoga and Psychology, his practice is research and evidence based. A certified Basic and Advanced Sound Healing Trainer, Srijana teaches at leading schools in Kathmandu, including Hebron and surya shikshya sadan School, while also collaborating with Swastik Hospital to integrate yoga into therapeutic care. Sunita Gautam– Female Trekking Guide
Sunita Gautam is certified female trekking guide from Nepal with several years of experience leading treks up to 5,600 meters. With her bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management and a master’s in business studies, her combine academic knowledge with practical guiding expertise to create safe, enjoyable, and culturally rich journeys.
She successfully guided major treks including Makalu Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Langtang, Gosaikunda, Mardi Himal, Panchpokhari and many popular hiking destinations around Kathmandu valley. As a female guide, she guides the client in comfort and trustable manner all kind of travelers including families. At the same time, the profession comes with challenges, such as occasional doubts about her physical capability, as well as safety concerns in remote areas, but overcoming these has only strengthened her confidence and commitment.
